Would you like to visit the National Archives of Scotland?
During the three weeks around the Clan Gathering 2009 the National Archives of Scotland (NAS) will be hosting a regular programme of talks on the history and resources of the NAS, with particular emphasis on sources for family and local history research. These talks will include guidance on using the NAS catalogues, both paper and electronic, and give examples of related websites. They are aimed both at new customers and existing readers wishing to extend their research interests. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Where and when?
Talks will take place at our historic headquarters building, General Register House, 2 Princes Street, Edinburgh. Talks will run at 10am and 2pm each weekday (Monday-Friday) from 20 July to 7 August. They should last 20-30 minutes.
