How to find us

The National Archives of Scotland (NAS) has two buildings in central Edinburgh: General Register House and West Register House. From 28 February 2011 all records will be consulted at General Register House. In addition, the NAS has a building in the west of Edinburgh, Thomas Thomson House, which is its main repository and also houses a conservation department and offices.
