News: Early closure of Search Rooms on Christmas Eve and Hogmanay

While our search rooms will be open to the public on Christmas Eve (24 December 2012) and Hogmanay (31 December 2012), they will be closing at the earlier time of 1pm on both days.

Please also note that the National Records of Scotland will be closed on the following days during the festive season:

  • Christmas Day: Tuesday 25 December 2012
  • Boxing Day: Wednesday 26 December 2012
  • New Year's Day: Tuesday 1 January 2013
  • 2 January: Wednesday 2 January 2013
