News: Dunblane Inquiry documents released at the National Archives of Scotland

Following an announcement by the Lord Advocate, documents gathered as evidence by the Dunblane Inquiry into the shootings at Dunblane Primary School are now available to the public in an edited form at The National Archives of Scotland (NAS).

All names or other information which would lead to identification of individuals have been removed from each document to protect the families involved, and to comply with data protection. The released documents, which had been closed for 100 years, include correspondence, witness statements and police reports.

The released documents can be viewed in the NAS search room at West Register House and have the NAS reference COM21/4/5-106.
